5 – 7 February 2026 · Sheraton Hotel, Annaba. The official review of the 5th edition, section by section.
A word from the organiser

“The ACF is not a fair you visit. It's an ecosystem you join.”
Five editions. More than 45,000 visitors in total, 400 exhibitors, and a conviction that has not changed since day one: eastern Algeria does not need to be told about innovation, it needs a place to make it happen.
In February 2026, the ACF reached a milestone. For three days, the Sheraton Annaba did not just host a fair: it hosted three sector summits, Tech²Health, Tech²Education and Tech²Agriculture, designed so that technology stops being a talking point and becomes a point of convergence.
103 exhibitors opened their stands. 42 speakers took the stage, including guests from Tunisia and the United Kingdom. 15 startups defended their project before a jury in the Pitch & Link final. And for the first time, a competition pitted a content creator against an artificial intelligence, in front of a packed room.
None of this exists without an ecosystem that plays its part: the institutions that support us under the high patronage of the ministries, the universities and incubators, our sponsors, our partners, and the thousands of visitors who return every year. This review is their record.

Ribbon cut, aisles open: the 5th edition began with an official tour of the stands in the presence of the authorities of the wilaya of Annaba, representatives of the supervising ministries and the fair's institutional partners. The delegation toured the different areas of the fair, stopping at the exhibitors' stands. The speeches recalled Annaba's place among the country's three most active entrepreneurial ecosystems.

For the 2nd year running, Mr Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, made an official visit to the fair. In his speech, he stressed the importance of the ACF as the annual meeting place of the ecosystem, before touring the stands with the secretary general of the wilaya of Annaba and the directors general of Algeria Venture, ASF and ANGEM.

Thursday 5 February 2026 · Summit 01
Where technology meets healthcare
The first day kicked off with the fair's densest summit: ten sessions, seventeen speakers, and one common thread, taking digital health beyond promises. Digital anatomy and surgical simulation, telemedicine and the Algerian regulatory framework, 3D-printed bionic prostheses, diagnostic AI, a fully digital patient journey and medical data cybersecurity: the programme followed the patient, from the practitioner's training to the protection of their records.

Smart technology for smarter learning
Second day, second field: learning. Seven sessions explored what technology really changes in a classroom, a training centre or a self-learning platform. The summit brought together teacher-researchers, platform founders and institutional leaders around a single question: how to move from the tool to its use.

Growing a smarter agricultural future
The closing day was the fair's most institutional and international: an agricultural robotics masterclass led by an expert from the United Kingdom, and a whole panel devoted to the InnovAgro project. Soil regeneration, smart irrigation, drones and autonomous machines, predictive AI, agritech financing: the programme followed the agricultural chain, from soil to capital.

Human team
Content creators and digital marketing professionals, judged on the relevance of the message and the accuracy of the tone.
AI team
Live assisted generation, under the same brief, format and time constraints.
Same brief, same time limit, same screen, and the audience decides. The format packed the room and closed the three days on a deliberately provocative question: not “who wins?”, but “what does each do better than the other?”. The audience's answer was more nuanced than the title.
15,000 visitors and 103 exhibitors: they were with us in 2026.
