Privacy policy

EURL Galacticom, as data controller, is committed to protecting the personal data of users of acf-expo.com and of ACF participants, in accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025.

1. The data we collect

We only collect the data you choose to send us:

• Website forms (contact, stand booking, sponsorship, speaker application): full name, email, phone, company or organisation, job title, and the content of your message.
• Visitor badge: registration for the 6th edition will open soon. The information required to issue the badge will be specified on the registration form.
• During the event: the scan of your badge at the entrance and, if you take part, at talks or B2B meetings.

We never ask for sensitive data (health, opinions, origin, religion…). The site does not ask for passwords and takes no online payments.

2. Why we use it

• To answer your requests and send you quotes, contracts and invoices (exhibitors, sponsors).
• To issue your badge and organise reception, talks and B2B meetings.
• To keep you informed about future ACF editions, only if you agreed to it. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email.
• To produce anonymous attendance statistics and improve future editions.

Your data is never sold, rented or traded.

3. Who can access it

Only the Galacticom team in charge of ACF can access your data. It also passes through technical providers, who act only on our instructions:

• the website host (Octenium);
• the form delivery service (FormSubmit), which forwards your messages to our email address;
• the visitor registration platform, once registration opens;
• our tool for sending information emails.

Some of these providers may store data outside Algeria. We keep such transfers to what is strictly necessary, in accordance with Law No. 18-07. During B2B meetings, your business contact details are shared with an exhibitor only with your consent.

4. How long we keep it

• Contact requests: 3 years after our last exchange.
• Exhibitors and sponsors: for the duration of the business relationship, then for the period required by accounting and tax obligations.
• Visitor badges: 3 years after the edition concerned; after that, only anonymous statistics are kept.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

5. Event photos and videos

ACF is filmed and photographed by our teams and by the press. These images may be published on this site, on our social networks and in our communication materials. If you do not wish to appear in a published image, write to us with the link or the photo: we will remove or blur it as quickly as possible.

6. Cookies and external content

This site sets no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. Some content comes from external services:

• YouTube videos, in privacy-enhanced mode, only load when you press play;
• the map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps;
• fonts are loaded from Google Fonts;
• site traffic is measured anonymously and without cookies by Cloudflare Web Analytics.

These services may receive your IP address and apply their own privacy rules.

7. Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS. Access to data is limited to the people who need it, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.

8. Your rights

Under Law No. 18-07, you may at any time:

• find out whether we hold data about you and get a copy of it (right of access);
• have it corrected, completed, erased or blocked (right of rectification);
• object to its use, in particular to receiving our information emails (right to object).

Write to us at contact@galacticom-dz.com or through the Contact page, stating your request. We will reply free of charge within 10 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may refer the matter to Algeria's National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP).

This page may change, in particular with each new ACF edition. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
